This video revisits and celebrates The Critic, one of my favorite shows from the 90s. This brief, but memorable animated series was unique in so many ways. It was even ahead of its time in how it approached modern movies. Even though it ended too soon, it left quite a mark that’s worth exploring.

This video is about cults and how to tell if you might be in one. It was a difficult video to make in that I tried to be sensitive to the difference between a cult and a religion. I also tried to be fair in discussing those who get roped into cults. These people are often victimized by these groups and it is important to keep that in mind when discussing this topic.
I also highlight the BITE model when determining the practices of cults. If you’d like to know more about this model, please see the link below.

DC Comics’ new Absolute Universe has arrived. An all-new, much darker DC Universe has emerged. And our first glimpse of this world unfolds in Absolute Batman #1.
It’s the most ambitious reinvention of Batman in years. And Scott Snyder really accomplishes something special with this first issue. I would go so far to argue that this is the most important Batman comic of the past 25 years and this new Absolute Batman is one of the most imposing versions of Batman we’ve ever gotten. Enjoy!

Humanity, as a whole, has undergone many upheavals, collapses, and advancements over the centuries. But as far as we’ve come, there’s still so much farther we have to go. That raises the question.

What is human civilization’s ultimate form?
try to explore that with this thought experiment.
