Why The Maker Could Be The Ultimate Villain For The MCU

This is a video from my YouTube channel, Jack’s World.

The future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is very much in flux, even with Avengers: Secret Wars on the horizon. But if the MCU is to continue beyond that movie, it’ll need a new villain.

And I strongly believe the Maker should be that villain.

He’s not just an evil, broken version of Reed Richards. He is the ultimate worst case scenario for any Marvel universe. And he would present a truly unique threat to the MCU for multiple phases. Enjoy!

PS: I started working on this video before Fantastic Four: First Steps came out. And I was too far along when I eventually saw it. So, please keep that in mind.

Avengers, X-Men, And Why The Difference Matters

This video is a bit of a rant on the Avengers, the X-Men, and how they’re depicted in popular media. One is a celebrated team of heroes. The other is hated and feared, even as they try to be heroes, as well. There are many reasons for this that go beyond the general narrative. Fallen Friend: The Death Of Ms. Marvel #1 | Reaction, Spoilers, And (Uncanny) Speculation

This is a video from my YouTube channel, Jack’s World. This video is a general reaction to the events of Fallen Friend: The Death of Ms. Marvel #1.

After the incredibly dumb events of Amazing Spider-Man #26, which resulted in the death of Ms. Marvel, this issue deals with the aftermath. And while there are certainly moments worth highlighting, there are also some hints and teases that have me making some distinctly uncanny speculating. Enjoy!

Also, I uploaded this video just a few hours before the news dropped from Entertainment Weekly about Iman Vellani writing “Ms. Marvel: The New Mutant.” So yes, I’m aware it hasn’t aged well already.

How The New DC Cinematic Universe Can Succeed (Or Fail)

This is another video from my YouTube channel, Jack’s World. This video is a deep dive into the past, future, and potential of the DC Cinematic Universe (a.k.a. the DCEU). Now that it’s all but official that the whole endeavor is getting revamped, I explore what the new DCEU needs to do in order to succeed and the potential pitfalls it might face. I’m genuinely rooting for DC and Warner Brothers to succeed. But they will face major challenges to become a full-fledged cinematic universe.

Why Mr. Sinister Should Be The X-Men’s Main Villain In The MCU

This is another video from my YouTube channel, Jack’s World. This video is me making the case for Mr. Sinister to being the X-Men’s primary antagonist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He was only teased briefly in the Fox movies. And we’ve already had over a decade of Magneto being the X-Men’s main villain on the big screen. The time is right for Mr. Sinister to show just how devious he can be. And given the current state of the MCU, the timing couldn’t be better. Enjoy!
