In this video, I talk about hard work and how I’ve come to see it. I also offer what I hope is a balanced perspective on what it means to actually work hard in a world that seems increasingly unbalanced. I offer both these insights and perspectives free of charge, hoping it helps others as they navigate work and life moving forward. Enjoy!

Marvel and DC Comics each created a new universe in which they built their iconic characters from the ground up. One was forged by the machinations of the Maker and the other was created through the power of Darkseid. Both have done well in terms of sales and fan response.
However, the Ultimate Universe is set to end in 2026. And DC’s Absolute Universe is poised to grow for years to come.
The time is right to take a step back and assess both universes as they’ve developed. In doing so, one thing became clear. Absolute DC is winning and Ultimate Marvel 2.0 has faltered.

The ending to Mass Effect 3 remains one of the most controversial issues among fans. Even with the release of the Extended Cut, there’s a sense that it just didn’t work. It just wasn’t satisfying.
In this video, I explore this contentious topic. But I’m going to make the case that the Destroy ending is the worst ending in the long run.
Also, the footage in this video is taken directly from my Twitch stream.

Bob’s Burgers is one of my favorite shows. And one of the reasons for that is how well it does holiday episodes. The Christmas and Thanksgiving episodes tend to have the most drama, but Halloween also inspires a special kind of Belcher family fun.
And the episode that best embodies this spirit is “The Wolf of Wharf Street.” I’ll go on record as saying it’s the best Halloween episode of the show and it raises the bar for every other show. Enjoy!

Since the invention of nuclear weapons, the possibility of nuclear war has been a looming threat. Geopolitics has evolved, as has the source of tension and danger. But there’s no question that these weapons are devastating. And should they ever be used, the world will change.
But what would we do, as individuals, if we knew as a nuclear attack was immanent? We got a brief taste of that in 2018 with the false missile alert in Hawaii. Now, I’d like to offer my own take on this question on what I would do if such an attack was immanent. Enjoy!

Kang the Conqueror was supposed to be the next big threat for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He was poised to usher in the events that would culminate in Avengers: Secret Wars.
However, that did not happen. Marvel Studios changed their plans and with the firing of Jonathan Majors, Kang’s role in the future of the MCU is uncertain. But his story need not end.
In this video, I make the case that Kang can be salvaged. With the right approach, he can still be a major threat in a future phase of the MCU. Enjoy!

A lot of people my age talk fondly about growing up in the 90s. A lot of older friends and relatives talk just as fondly about life in previous decades. This sort of nostalgia is understandable, but it’s also misguided.
Even with the current state of the world, I’m NOT nostalgic for the 90s. And I’m here to make the case that nostalgia for any past decade is empty and incomplete. Enjoy!

When it comes to romantic sub-plots, certain pairings are obvious. But others are a lot less certain. In King of the Hill, one of the most enduring sub-plots involved Bobby and Connie.
From the original series and into the 2025 revival, these two have shared a unique bond over the years. Sometimes, it’s romantic. Sometimes, it’s pure friendship. But overall, what’s their endgame? Are they destined to be?
I honestly don’t know, but I try to break it down in this video. Enjoy!

Marvel’s rebooted Ultimate Universe is very distinct from its predecessor, as well as the mainline 616 universe. But as this world has unfolded, those distinctions have evolved in a very particular way.
In a world where the greatest evil are the institutions and authorities set up by the Maker, what are the heroes of this universe to do? They can’t stop at saving the day.
They can’t stop at defeating the bad guys. They must be revolutionaries in a very particular sense. And that’s something we haven’t gotten in superhero comics in quite some time. Enjoy!
