Happy 4th Of July 2025!
My fellow Americans, today is the 4th of July. Regardless of your politics, your attitudes, or your outlook on the future of this country, today is a day for celebration.
Following the news or engaging in one too many political debates can often obscure our perspective. To simply be born in America during a time like this, out of all the other places where we could’ve been born, isn’t just a privilege. It’s a stroke of luck that we should not make light of.
The United States of America is far from a perfect nation. Its history and people are complicated and often mired in controversy. But that’s less a reflection of a nation and more a byproduct of humans, in general, being so imperfect.
But despite our imperfections, we were able to come together and build a nation like America. We may not always uphold its greatest ideals, but those ideals are worth striving for, fighting for, and dying for in times of crisis.
So for today, remember those American ideals. Cherish them. Celebrate them. We have a long ways to go as a country. But to get to a better future, let’s just celebrate the gift we’ve been giving as Americans here in the present.

Happy 4th Of July! (With A Special Message To America)
My fellow Americans, today is the 4th of July.
It’s an important day for this country. We celebrate it for a reason and that reason goes beyond fireworks, barbecue, burgers, and beer. To us, America is more than a country. It’s more than a nationality or identity. It embodies certain ideals and principles for what a nation and its people can be. What began as thirteen British colonies has grown into fifty states that vary in many ways. But they are all still American.
These ideals are certainly worth celebrating.
These principles are definitely worth cherishing, embracing, and espousing to the utmost.
They were all bold ideas put forth by equally bold men on July 4, 1776. And in the many years since that date, the United States of America has grown and evolved in many ways. But it couldn’t have gotten far with these that special identity that ultimately became the heart of this country.
Now, I remind my fellow Americans of this to offer more than a patriotic sentiment for this very special national holiday. More than anything else, I offer it as a reminder. Because, like any nation or people, America is not perfect. Acknowledging that doesn’t make you less patriotic. It’s necessary to put America and all it stands for into a proper context.
You can ignore history all you want, but there’s no getting around it.
America has had its growing pains.
There have been dark times in our history, some of which we’re still recovering from.
We, as a nation and a people, have not always lived up to the ideals this Country embodies. We have not always extended the promise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness to others. Whether it’s out of bigotry, racism, sexism, xenophobia, or the many ugly prejudices that come with partisan politics, we make many excuses to divide ourselves.
But at the end of the day, we still share this nation. We’re still Americans. To deny such courtesy to others who love this country every bit as much is simply un-American, by default. We are a nation of many diverse people and voices. But we live together in this remarkable country. We all want it to thrive and be the best it can be. Even if we don’t agree on the method, we can still share in the goals.
There are still many challenges before us. Some come from those who have a vision of America that’s utterly antithetical to the principles of freedom and liberty. Some come from those within our own government who care less about their country and more about how it can enrich or empower them. Some come from problems that were present at the founding, which have left lasting scars that we’re still recovering from.
There’s a large gap between the Country we are now and what we strive to be. But those goals and the ideals behind them are still worth pursuing. They’re still worth striving for, whether it’s by working, voting, or serving your community in some meaningful way. We can debate and argue over the path we’re taking. But for today, let’s just take a step back and celebrate how far we’ve come while also not forgetting how much farther we have to go.
So, to my fellow Americans, Happy 4th of July!

Happy Labor Day 2022!
Today is Labor Day.
For most people, it’s just a generic government holiday. Most treat it as the last chance to enjoy proper summer activities, like cookouts and going to he beach. For kids, it’s often a clear sign that summer break is over and it’s time to get back to school.
However, these past two years have changed a lot about how we see labor, holidays, and traditions in general. I don’t think I need to remind everyone how much change and upheaval we’ve had since 2020 with the COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, I’d rather not remind anyone of just how bad things got for so many people, especially the working class.
So, rather than dwell on that, let me just take a moment to ask that everyone remember what it means to work hard and toil for a living. Many of those reading this have probably worked a menial, arduous job for minimal pay and little benefits. Unless you’re born rich and well-connected, it’s practically unavoidable.
I certainly couldn’t avoid it. One of the first jobs I had was at a fast food restaurant. It was a tedious, laborious job that always left me sore, drained, and moody. I had to help impatient people get greasy, unhealthy food. I had to constantly empty out the trash, clean the toilets, and sweep disgusting crap off the floor.
But the worst part of all was just how slow time seemed to go every day I was at that job. I swear a minute felt like an hour and an hour felt like a day. It also paid minimum wage and the only benefits I enjoyed was a free meal every day.
It was as unpleasant a first job could be. However, it gave me an immense appreciation for those who work hard and toil at these jobs that a lot of us don’t give a second thought. To this date, I try to make it a point to be extra courteous and kind to those working jobs like that. I also try to tip generously whenever I can.
I encourage everyone to do the same because if nothing else, these past two years have shown just how vital these hard working people are to our society. We literally could not function without them. Whether they’re flipping burgers, delivering packages, or crunching numbers behind a computer screen, their hard work and toil deserves to be celebrated.
Labor Day might not offer much to those who still strain their bodies and souls every day, just to survive. But I hope it offers some perspective to those who truly appreciate the value of hard work.
So, in that spirit, I wish everyone from all walks of life a Happy Labor Day.

Have A (Relatively) Happy Labor Day 2020!
To everyone out there who are lucky enough to get today off, Happy Labor Day!
To everyone else who is still working today, I sincerely thank you. Hopefully, you get a chance to make up for it. You deserve it. We all deserve a day off from the hard drudgery of work.
I know it’s somewhat bittersweet. This year had been a real drag for obvious reasons. This summer has been lost for many. Between travel restrictions, closed pools, and cancelled events, this summer has been one to forget.
Now, it’s just about over. As bittersweet as that is, we’re still forging ahead. We’re still dragging our way through 2020. Let’s make Labor Day this year a much-needed breather. Getting through this mess has been harder than most, but we’re making progress. We’ll get to the end eventually. Keep believing that.
For today, though, just take a step back and enjoy how far we’ve come. We all need it. We’ll also need our strength to make it the rest of the way through this year.

Happy (And Bittersweet) St. Patrick’s Day!
Let’s not lie to ourselves. Some holidays are more noteworthy than others. As long as we’re being honest, a sizable number of people probably didn’t remember that today is St. Patrick’s Day. For once, you have a perfectly valid reason for forgetting. When there’s a global pandemic making headlines, tanking the economy, and disrupting society, you can be forgiven for letting it slip your mind.
I won’t deny it. I usually don’t make a big deal of St. Patrick’s Day. For me, it’s just a fun event that involves going out to a bar, hanging out with friends, and drinking beer while watching sports. Given all the sports cancellations, most of those plans are already shot. It’s disappointing. It also makes it difficult to get in any St. Patrick’s Day spirit.
Even if you don’t care for the holiday, it still sucks that we lost what is a fun social event that you can celebrate on your own terms. Chances are most will just spend this day trying to make due with this harsh new reality of enduring a global pandemic. It’s not fun or festive, to say the least.
However, that doesn’t mean we can’t find a way to enjoy it. I made sure I had a case of beer and some Jameson’s Whiskey on hand for today. I may not be able to hang out at a bar or enjoy a good party, but I can still kick back with a few beers and celebrate in my own special way. I encourage everyone to do the same. Even if you don’t drink, do what you can to make this bittersweet holiday a bit more enjoyable.
Times are tough. They’re bound to get tougher, but they’re destined to get better. Make the most if it. Find a way to have a little fun on this bittersweet St. Patrick’s Day. If not, then plan on making up for it at some point. That day will come and when it does, it’ll be sweeter than any beer or whiskey you could ever taste.

Have A Very Merry (And Sexy) Christmas To All!
The wait is over. The shopping is done. The eggnog is cold. The decorations are bright, lit, and a sight to behold. That’s right. It’s Christmas. Whether you’re an adult, a child, or an adult who just enjoys acting like a child every now and then, it’s a special day that’s worth cherishing with those we love.
So to those who have helped make this website so successful, especially over the past two months, I sincerely thank you. On behalf of myself and all those who try to bring a little sexiness into this world I wish everyone a very sexy, very merry Christmas. Open gifts, celebrate with loved ones, and enjoy this wonderful holiday.

Happy (Sexy) 4th of July!
It’s America’s birthday, people. That means this is a day to step back, eat something grilled, drink something alcoholic, and reflect on all things American. Bald eagles, apple pies, and Jennifer Lawrence’s ass should be on your mind today. So please enjoy it for America!
Now, I understand there’s a segment of the population that hasn’t been feeling very patriotic lately. I also understand that there’s a segment that might be feeling too patriotic. Whichever side you fall on, you’re still American. Let’s at least try to put that crap aside for one day and appreciate all things American. If you can’t do that, then just you’re just being difficult.
So on behalf of myself and all those who enjoy sexy summer patriotism, Happy 4th of July!
