The Naked Gun is one of the most beloved comedy franchises in cinematic history. By nearly every measure, it is perfect in every way. The jokes, the slapstick, and the satire have only gotten funnier with age. It’s one of those franchises that cannot be improved upon.
And yet, Seth MacFarlane tried with Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson. While the movie had its moments, it was just never going to measure up to what the originals delivered. And this video explains why.
