In the late 90s, artificial intelligence was still the domain of movies and sci-fi. Around that time, a movie called “Small Soldiers” came out in theaters. It was a minor success with an interesting plot, having a line of toys come to life due to being installed with an AI chip meant for weapons. But years later, with the subsequent rise of AI, this movie feels a lot more noteworthy and relevant.
