PopMatters: “Wonder Woman #40” Review
The following is a review I write for PopMatters.com for “Phoenix Resurrection: The Return Of Jean Grey #5.” I know I discussed this story already in a previous post about romance and tragedy, but I thought I’d post this here for anyone interested in a more comprehensive review of the issue itself.
Patience Is Rewarded in ‘Phoenix Resurrection: The Return of Jean Grey #5’
Mark your calendars and prepare your inner warrior goddess because the Wonder Woman train is moving right along and picking up speed. The hit movie is still out in theaters, but it was successful enough for the powers that be to green-light a sequel, which was announced at San Diego Comic Con this past weekend.
Now, that sequel just became more official. According to the Hollywood Reporter and every other news that follows stories about awesome warrior women, the release date of Wonder Woman 2 has officially been set. It’s still going to be a long wait, but as the first movie showed, Wonder Woman is worth the wait.
THR: Wonder Woman 2 To Be Released On December 13, 2019
Some big, but completely unsurprising news dropped at the San Diego Comic Con. After conquering the box office and finally helping everyone forget about Catwoman and Elektra, Wonder Woman has finally proven that female superhero movies can be awesome. As such, she’s getting a sequel and it’s already in the works.
She’s Wonder Woman. It’s not enough for her to just meet expectations. She has to exceed them, raise the bar, and look sexy as hell while doing it.
Wonder Woman 2 Officially Announced At San Diego Comic Con 2017
It’s still sinking in. I’m still processing it. I’m a published author who just released his first published book. I know it’s only been a day, but I’m still more excited than a squirrel in a nut factory.
Already, “Passion Relapse” has one review on Amazon and it’s a respectable four stars. Since this is my first published novel, I’ll gladly take that. In addition, a sexy blog that specializes in sexy book reviews called Wicked Reads did their full assessment of my book. It too gained a respectable four stars. I hope to raise the bar with future novels, but I’ll still take it.
So thank you, Wicked Reads, for your insight. If anyone is interested, or just not convinced that my book is worth the cost of wet panties, check it out. I hope it changes your mind.
As I loudly proclaimed earlier today, my first published book, “Passion Relapse,” has been released and is available for purchase. If you haven’t bought it by now, then what are you doing reading this? Go check it out! Make sure you have clean panties though.
As part of my efforts to promote the book, the wonderful folks at Totally Entwined Group gave me a chance to do a blog post for their Fresh Fiction Blog. It’s basically an introduction post for me, as a newly published writer. It offers a bit of insight into who I am, how I got started writing erotica/romance, and what my hopes are for the future.
It’s nothing too fancy. Think of it as an after party of shorts to a big premier, minus the cocaine and open bar. Enjoy!
Just thought I’d share this. A few months ago, I announced I had forged some connections with the fine folks at ComicsVerse, a great comic book website for comic book fans of all levels. They gave me a chance to write an article for them and I jumped at the chance. I submitted one a number of weeks ago. Today, it was finally published and I’m very proud of it. The topic requires some understanding of what’s going on in the comic book world right now, but it’s still a fun piece to read for those who just enjoy my unique style, however few there may be. Enjoy!
